Why is my Claude usage showing as unavailable?
Anthropic doesn't publish an API for Claude Code's plan limit, so percentage/limit fields show "Unavailable from provider" until you enter your known plan limit in Settings → Providers. Raw usage counts (requests, tokens) are still shown.
Why hasn't my usage refreshed?
Usage refreshes when the local collector syncs (see Providers → Claude Code → Last synced). If it's been more than an hour, check that the collector job is still running on the machine where Claude Code runs.
How does the 5-hour window work?
It's a rolling window over your last 5 hours of Claude Code activity, computed from local session timestamps — not a fixed clock-hour boundary.
How is estimated cost calculated?
Token counts (input/output/cached) multiplied by Anthropic's published per-model pricing. It's always labeled "Estimated", never an actual bill.
How do I disconnect Claude?
Settings → Providers → Claude Code → Disconnect. This stops future syncs immediately; historical data is kept unless you also delete it.
Why is my Android widget stale?
Widgets show the most recent successfully synced data and label it clearly if it's cached. Open the app to trigger a manual sync, or check your device's battery-optimization settings aren't blocking the background sync job.
Does connecting Claude Code require my Anthropic password?
No — never. Connecting points a local collector at your existing Claude Code session data on disk; no credentials are requested or transmitted.
Can I use AI Usage Monitor without connecting any provider?
You can create an account and explore the app, but the dashboard has nothing to show until at least one provider is connected.
