Getting started
Create an account, connect Claude Code from Settings → Providers, and your dashboard populates as soon as the local collector runs its first sync.
Connecting Claude Code
Connecting doesn't ask for your Anthropic password. AI Usage Monitor points a local collector at your existing Claude Code session data directory (auto-detected, editable) and reads only timestamps and token-usage metadata — never conversation content.
Understanding usage windows
A usage window represents a rolling quota period (e.g. 5-hour, weekly). Percentage and limit are only shown if you've entered a known plan limit in Settings — otherwise we show your raw usage count and label the limit "Unavailable from provider", since Anthropic doesn't publish that number via an API.
Cost tracking
Estimated cost = token counts × published Anthropic pricing. It is always labeled "Estimated" and is never an actual invoice. Actual billed cost requires a separate, officially supported cost-reporting integration.
Notifications
Configure threshold notifications (50/75/80/90/95%, limit reached, reset) per provider in Settings → Notifications.
Widgets
Three Android home screen widgets — small, medium, and large — show live or last-cached usage. Long-press to configure which provider each widget tracks.
Privacy
We never read source code, file contents, or conversation content. See the Privacy and Security pages for the full data-handling policy.
Troubleshooting
If usage shows "Unavailable from provider", the provider hasn't exposed that specific metric through a supported mechanism — this is expected, not a bug. If usage looks stale, check Providers → Claude Code → Last synced.
Disconnecting accounts
Settings → Providers → Disconnect removes the connection and stops future syncs immediately. Historical data collected while connected is retained unless you also choose "Delete all data".
Deleting data
Settings → Privacy → Delete all data (keeps your account) or Delete account (removes everything, including the account itself).
